Everything you need to know

Australia is one of the world's most popular study destinations, known for its globally recognised universities, high-quality education, multicultural lifestyle, excellent student support, and strong graduate employability rate. International students also benefit from post-study work opportunities, making Australia an ideal destination for building a global career.

Kaaiser is one of India’s most trusted and experienced study abroad consultancies, with over 30 years of specialised expertise in Australian education. Founded by Mr. Kapil Chandok, a globally educated visionary with deep international exposure, Kaaiser has successfully guided thousands of students to achieve their dreams of studying in Australia.

We proudly represent all eight Group of Eight (Go8) universities and 96% of Australia’s leading universities and colleges, giving our students exclusive access to the country’s finest academic opportunities. From personalised university and course selection to applications, scholarships, visas, and pre-departure support, we deliver true end-to-end guidance with a proven track record of excellence and high success rates.

The  Group of Eight (Go8)  is Australia's coalition of leading research-intensive universities, recognised globally for academic excellence, innovation, and graduate employability. Studying at a Go8 university provides access to world-class faculty, cutting-edge research, strong industry connections, and internationally recognised qualifications. Kaaiser works closely with all eight Go8 universities to help eligible students explore the best opportunities.

Admission requirements for Australian universities are generally straightforward and more flexible compared to countries like the USA or UK. Unlike many US or UK universities that often require standardised tests such as SAT, ACT, GMAT, or GRE, Australian admissions for most undergraduate courses are primarily based on your Class 12th marks (or equivalent qualification). For postgraduate programs, admission is mainly based on your Bachelor’s degree performance.

In addition, you will need a valid passport, proof of English language proficiency through tests such as IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL, or equivalent, a Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (for selected programmes), and supporting financial documents. Some courses may have additional prerequisites like portfolios, work experience, or interviews. Our experienced counsellors at Kaaiser assess your academic profile and guide you through the exact requirements for your target universities and programs.

Yes. International students on a valid Australian student visa can work 48 hours fortnightly while studying, subject to the visa conditions. Working part-time allows students to gain valuable industry experience and help manage their living expenses. Always check the latest Australian Government visa conditions before making plans.

Yes. Australian universities offer a wide range of merit-based scholarships, international student scholarships, research scholarships, and bursaries. Kaaiser helps eligible students identify scholarship opportunities and prepares strong applications to maximise their chances of receiving financial assistance. Kaaiser students have received up to 100% scholarship.

The cost of studying in Australia depends on the university, course, and city. In addition to tuition fees, students should budget for accommodation, food, transport, health insurance (OSHC), and personal expenses. Our counsellors help students estimate the total cost and plan their finances before applying.

Yes. Our support doesn't end with your admission offer. Australia is home to many globally recognised universities, including the Group of Eight (Go8) institutions as well as several highly ranked public universities known for research, innovation, employability, and industry partnerships.
